THE PURPOSE BEHIND THE THURSDAY THIRTEEN:
The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. What do you do? Write Thirteen things about yourself, summarize your week in one entry, make it easy for other bloggers to get to know you on a weekly basis. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. It’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well!
Great TT! I posted on peace as well. I love the Gandhi quote!
Happy TT.
Excellent post and great continuation of the Blog for Peace Day that way too!
A very interesting mix of quotations there.
Great post. We all need to find a little peace in our lives, for sure. Happy TT!
Hey Dawn – Peace out, teach!
Very well done. Have a great TT. 🙂
What a lovely theme for your TT! I’ve copied a few of the quotes into my qotd db for my blog. 🙂
Happy TT!
Excellent TT! I never tire of those wise quotes and oh how we need to be reminded of them on a daily basis. Peace does begin with every step we take…oh crap, I think I just stepped on an ant!
As I’ve said before, Elie Wiesel is my favorite author of all time. Love this globe and this quote from a very wise man. I hope you and your kids, cats, and books are wandering peacefully through the blogosphere tonight.
Peace out! (yes, love that one too)
Mimi
