Sorry I haven’t been around.  School is really hectic this time of year.  Add to that the three kids, four cats, two dogs, National Poetry Month :D, gearing up for the Writing Project this summer, and- oh I don’t know- trying to sleep… and blogging has taken a bit of a back seat.  Plus, there’s that little addiction I have to PackRat on facebook LOL

Mardi Gras World Mambo

It’s coming!!! Who’s coming to see me?

ARGH!!! I was without internet for TWO FREAKING WEEKS! To top it off… the week before school let out, I couldn’t do most of the things I would like to do besides checking my email at school because we have this really great filtering program.  Yay for the kids, boo hiss for me.  Yes, I’m alive to tell about it, but not much better for it. I was crippled. I didn’t know how to check the weather, for a phone number, my bank balance… and I was having serious blog/facebook/myspace withdrawals! Those are the setbacks of having a small town cable company, they couldn’t get out to us until the day AFTER Christmas. And then the weather was bad, so it got pushed back by two days. Now I’m ready to just take a nap.

Merry Christmas to all my blogging buddies, sorry I missed you all.

I guess I should thank my parents, after all they are the reason I am who I am… and then there’s those pesky kids… and the 40 kids I teach…. and this city that is still wallowing.  HEY!  I have valid reasons, yay!  Thanks Steven, muah!
