I am a total procrastinator. I have a paper due tomorrow, yes that would be the day after today. I have all of a paragraph written for it. It’s supposed to be five pages or so. I have bookmarked 30 references, but haven’t looked at any but one (thus the one paragraph I have)… Thank goodness this semester is over next Tuesday. It’s just crazy to think I’m taking these classes to complete that +30 certification to get a whopping $750 a year pay raise. Ridiculous!! Slaves, I tell ya, teachers are slaves!

Hopefully, the fact that you haven’t blogged the last few days means you were able to overcome the procrastination demon and get the paper done! Yes, teachers are crazy slaves. I taught for 29 years and went from secondary to elementary ed, plus masters, and AA certificate, so I know exactly what you mean about all that extra work for such measly little extra pay. But I’m retired now, and I laugh at them (the administrators, not the kids – I loved the kids)every time I draw this nice pension check!!!!
